About Caesarstone® Quarz 5151 Empira White

Caesarstone Quarz 5151 Empira White is one of the most elegant designs in the Caesarstone Empira collection — a line that deliberately translates the classic light marble look into engineered quartz. Characteristic is a warm cream-white base colour with a discreet off-white tone, run through by fine, organically running grey-brown veins that draw across the slab surface in delicate lines of movement and recall the look of Calacatta or Statuario marble. Unlike natural marble with its random geological variation, the slab image of Empira White is consistent and reproducible — ideal for kitchen designs with several slab joints, large islands and projects that require a uniformly coherent appearance across all surfaces. At ROSSITTIS we stock Caesarstone 5151 Empira White for kitchen worktops, cooking islands, bar counters, washbasin tops, bathroom wall claddings, splashbacks, exposed surfaces and project-specific bespoke work where a prestigious Calacatta look is wanted together with the predictable ease of care of engineered quartz.

Finishes

Caesarstone® Quarz 5151 Empira White is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Polished

A glossy surface with the highest possible degree of colour intensity — the standard finish in the engineered stone and engineered quartz segment. Easy to care for in everyday use and resistant to common household acids. A prestigious choice for kitchen worktops, wall claddings and exposed surfaces with a classic high-gloss character.

Care & fabrication

As an engineered quartz material, Caesarstone 5151 Empira White is considerably easier to care for than natural marble with a similar look. An impregnation is not required — the material is virtually pore-free and absorbs practically no liquids. Routine cleaning is carried out with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner or a solution of warm water with a little washing-up liquid, applied with a soft microfibre cloth or sponge. Strongly staining substances such as red wine, coffee, oil or tomato sauce should not penetrate, but should nevertheless be taken up promptly so as not to load the polymer layers at the surface unnecessarily. Avoid aggressive solvents (acetone, thinners, stubborn paint strippers), strongly alkaline deep cleaners and abrasive steel wool — they can matt or damage the polymer binder. Important: engineered quartz is sensitive to temperature. Do not set hot pots or pans straight from the oven or off the hob onto the slab without a trivet — point heat above around 150 °C can cause visible discolouration or cracks. Caesarstone 5151 Empira White is designed exclusively for interior use; avoid direct UV sunlight over long periods, since it can cause the polymer components to yellow — which would become visible particularly quickly on a light material such as Empira White.

Frequently asked questions

What is Caesarstone 5151 Empira White?

Empira White is an engineered quartz material from the Caesarstone Empira collection (product code 5151). Caesarstone is one of the world's leading manufacturers of engineered quartz worktops. Empira White is distinguished by a warm cream-white base colour with fine grey-brown marble veining in a Calacatta or Statuario character and is aimed specifically at interior applications such as kitchen worktops, cooking islands, bar counters and washbasin tops.

Empira White or Calacatta natural marble — what is the difference?

Both bring a similar elegant Calacatta look of warm white with grey-brown veining. Natural marble such as Calacatta Gold or Statuario has random geological veining, a warm natural material signature and is acid-sensitive — wine, lemon juice or vinegar leave etch marks. Empira White offers the Calacatta look in engineered quartz quality: acid-resistant, stain-resistant, without impregnation, with a reproducible slab image across several slabs. For exposed surfaces with a marble patina, natural marble is the first choice; for heavily loaded kitchen worktops with a Calacatta look, Empira White is more practical.

Is Empira White suitable for kitchen worktops?

Yes, the material is explicitly designed for kitchen worktops. Engineered quartz is acid- and stain-resistant — wine, lemon juice, vinegar, tomato sauce or coffee leave no lasting traces. What matters is protection from very high point heat (trivets for hot pots and pans) and the avoidance of aggressive solvents. With a light material such as Empira White, staining substances should nevertheless be wiped off promptly in order to keep the surface appearance permanently flawless.

Which finishes are available for Empira White?

The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.

Can Empira White be used outdoors?

No. Caesarstone recommends the material exclusively for interior applications. Direct UV sunlight can cause the polymer binders to yellow over longer periods — which would become visible particularly quickly on a light material such as Empira White. For outdoor worktops and outdoor kitchens, UV-stable sintered materials or certain natural hard stones are the more suitable materials.

Which slab formats are available for Empira White?

Caesarstone supplies Empira White in standard slab formats and in large format as a jumbo slab. The jumbo slab size is particularly interesting for large cooking islands and continuous kitchen worktops without visible butt joints — the veining can thus be laid so that it remains continuously legible across the entire surface.

How do I clean Caesarstone Empira White?

Daily care with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner or warm water with washing-up liquid and a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid aggressive solvents, strongly alkaline cleaners and abrasive steel wool. An impregnation is not required. Set hot pots and pans down only on trivets, in order to protect the temperature-sensitive polymer bond. Take up staining substances such as red wine, coffee or tomato sauce promptly on light surfaces.

What does Caesarstone® Quarz 5151 Empira White cost?

The price depends on the format, thickness, surface finish and fabrication — there is no serious flat rate per square metre. Business customers see prices once their B2B account is activated; private customers receive a complete quote through a fabricator near them.
