Via Grigia

In the slab image Via Grigia shows a dark anthracite grey base tone, run through by a powerfully fluid network of veins in creamy beige, honey gold and light grey-cream tones. The vein marking appears dramatically flowing — main tracks branch into finer accompanying lines with occasional more powerful nodal zones. An atmospheric, luxurious composition with a classic Mediterranean natural stone character.

For the application that means: Via Grigia is a decidedly elegant choice for prestigious wall claddings, vanity tops, bar counters, table surfaces and interior surfaces with a luxurious, dramatic ambition. Combined with warm timber, brass, bronze and muted earth tones, the material develops an atmospheric, luxurious, almost sacral effect.

Technically, Via Grigia, like all carbonate limestones, is acid-sensitive (Mohs hardness approx. 3) and requires an awareness of care.
