About DIRESCO Quarz FU032 Cava Mocca

In colour, Cava Mocca moves between sand, champagne and light mocha. The fine speckling keeps the surface lively without becoming loud and gives it a discreet stone character. The material therefore appeals particularly to projects that like the warmth of travertine or limestone but need a more technically controlled surface. In kitchens, bathrooms, floor surfaces and external zones this tone can be used very broadly.

Cava Mocca is manufactured by Diresco in Belgium as an engineered quartz of the Cava line. The surface is virtually non-porous, designed for interior and exterior applications and, according to Diresco, heat-resistant to around 160 °C on a dry surface. The slabs are offered in 318 x 155 cm and in 12, 20 and 30 mm. Poli, Velvet and Anticato cover the most important design directions, from glossy to robust.

Finishes

DIRESCO Quarz FU032 Cava Mocca is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Velvet

The surface is brushed, much like a satin finish — softer minerals are removed and a subtle depth with a matte effect is created. The velvety soft feel is characteristic and design-led. Easy to maintain and suited to everyday use; an elegant choice for demanding kitchen and wall surfaces where a softly tactile appearance is wanted.

Care & fabrication

Cava Mocca does not require classic natural stone impregnation, since the Diresco surface is virtually non-porous. That considerably simplifies maintenance compared with open-pored limestone and travertine materials.

For cleaning and care, water, a microfibre cloth and a mild cleaning agent are sufficient. On light sand-beige surfaces in particular, grease, coffee, wine and films of dirt should be removed regularly so that the warm tone stays clear.

Avoid abrasive sponges, aggressive solvents and strongly alkaline products. For periodic deep cleaning, intensive cleaners suitable for quartz are the better choice.

In outdoor kitchens and on floor surfaces the same applies: clean and care for them regularly, do not let deposits stand permanently and work over textured finishes more thoroughly where dirt takes hold.

Frequently asked questions

Is Diresco Quarz BU032 Cava Mocca suitable for the kitchen?

Yes. Cava Mocca is very well suited to worktops, because the surface is virtually non-porous, easy to care for and designed for intensive use.

Which finishes are available for Cava Mocca?

The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.

Where does Diresco Quarz BU032 Cava Mocca come from?

Cava Mocca is produced by Diresco in Belgium.

How do I clean Cava Mocca correctly?

For cleaning and care, water, a microfibre cloth and a mild cleaning agent are sufficient. An additional impregnation is not necessary with this engineered quartz.

Is Cava Mocca suitable for outdoor areas?

Yes. The Cava line is also intended for external applications, so that Cava Mocca can be used well in outdoor kitchens and coordinated floor concepts.

Cava Mocca or travertine?

Cava Mocca is more uniform and easier to care for. Travertine appears more natural and geologically more authentic, but brings open pores, fillings and more maintenance effort with it.

What does DIRESCO Quarz FU032 Cava Mocca cost?

The price depends on the format, thickness, surface finish and fabrication — there is no serious flat rate per square metre. Business customers see prices once their B2B account is activated; private customers receive a complete quote through a fabricator near them.
