Kitchen & worktops

Natural stone in the kitchen combines beauty with function. A high-quality worktop withstands heat, cuts and daily use – and only grows more beautiful over the years. Hygienic surfaces, a natural feel and individual grain make stone the first choice for demanding kitchens.

Suitable materials

Granite Heat-resistant, scratch-resistant, acid-resistant – the classic for kitchen worktops
Quartzite As hard as granite, with a unique and lively look – for individual kitchens
Engineered quartz Easy to care for, an even surface, stain-resistant – ideal for families
Ceramics Large formats possible, no sealing required, UV- and heat-resistant

Recommended only with reservations

Marble – acid-sensitive; it reacts to lemon juice, vinegar and wine with permanent marks. Limestone – too soft for the daily loading of a kitchen worktop, and sensitive to acids and scratches.
