Floors & stairs

Natural stone floors last for centuries – quite literally. From ancient palaces to modern lofts: stone floors combine durability with living beauty. What matters is abrasion resistance, slip resistance and suitability for underfloor heating.

Suitable materials

Granite The highest abrasion resistance, all but indestructible – for entrance areas and stairwells
Limestone Warm colour tones, fossil inclusions – timeless for living areas and hallways
Slate Natural foliation, slip-resistant – a lively surface for modern rooms
Quartzite Extremely hard, intense in colour – for prestige floors with character
