About DIRESCO Quarz SL102 Travertino Romano
Travertino Romano translates the familiar visual language of Italian travertine into a uniform composite surface. Warm beige and cream tones, together with the characteristic wavy marking, produce a clear Mediterranean image. The surface appears homely and classic, yet remains more controlled than genuine travertine with its open pores, bands and filled areas. In kitchens, bathrooms, wall claddings and floor surfaces in particular this is of interest wherever a warm natural stone character is sought, but without the typical travertine issues.
Diresco manufactures the material in Belgium as an engineered quartz of the Sublime line. Typical are slabs measuring 318 x 155 cm, thicknesses of 12 and 20 mm as well as the finishes Anticato, Poli and Velvet. The surface is virtually non-porous and considerably easier to maintain in everyday use than genuine travertine. That is precisely why the material is particularly suited to projects that want a limestone-like colour world but have to work with more controlled material performance.
In use, Travertino Romano is suitable for worktops, washbasin tops, splashbacks, wall claddings and further interior surfaces. For cleaning and care, water, a microfibre cloth and a mild cleaning agent are sufficient. Grease, coffee, wine and limescale residues should be removed regularly so that the light beige surface stays clear.
