About DIRESCO Quarz SL102 Travertino Romano

Travertino Romano translates the familiar visual language of Italian travertine into a uniform composite surface. Warm beige and cream tones, together with the characteristic wavy marking, produce a clear Mediterranean image. The surface appears homely and classic, yet remains more controlled than genuine travertine with its open pores, bands and filled areas. In kitchens, bathrooms, wall claddings and floor surfaces in particular this is of interest wherever a warm natural stone character is sought, but without the typical travertine issues.

Finishes

DIRESCO Quarz SL102 Travertino Romano is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Polished

A glossy surface with the highest possible degree of colour intensity — the standard finish in the engineered stone and engineered quartz segment. Easy to care for in everyday use and resistant to common household acids. A prestigious choice for kitchen worktops, wall claddings and exposed surfaces with a classic high-gloss character.

Anticato

Inspired by the Eco Antik natural stone finish — the surface feels uneven to the touch but not rough, with a rustic, aged character. A design-led choice for Mediterranean and deliberately characterful design concepts; easy to care for and well suited to everyday use.

Care & fabrication

SL111 Travertino Romano does not require classic natural stone impregnation, since as an engineered quartz the surface is virtually non-porous. That considerably reduces the maintenance effort compared with genuine travertine.

For cleaning and care, water, a microfibre cloth and a mild cleaning agent are sufficient. Grease, coffee, wine and limescale residues should be removed regularly so that the light beige surface stays clear.

Abrasive pads, aggressive solvents and strongly alkaline products should be avoided. For periodic deep cleaning, intensive cleaners suitable for quartz make more sense than rough household products.

Since the material is aimed above all at high-quality interior applications, what matters most is regular cleaning and care. That keeps the warm travertine character permanently clean and calm.

Frequently asked questions

Where does Diresco Quarz SL111 Travertino Romano come from?

How do I clean Travertino Romano correctly?

For cleaning and care, water, a microfibre cloth and a mild cleaning agent are sufficient. An additional impregnation is not required.

Is Travertino Romano suitable for outdoor use?

Travertino Romano or genuine travertine?
