About Grigio Adamello Agglo IT

Grigio Adamello Agglo IT is a material for projects in which calm matters more than spectacular movement. The grey base colour is carried by finer mineral inclusions and an even agglomerate appearance. This produces a surface that reads as clear, technical and predictable. Unlike lively natural stones, the markings stay controlled, which can be an advantage particularly on larger floor areas, staircases or minimalist interiors.

As an agglomerated stone, the material is not a naturally formed block of stone but an industrially manufactured product based on mineral constituents and binders. That is precisely where its strength comes from: the appearance is more reproducible, calmer and easier to control in the design than with many natural stones. For interior applications such as window sills, stairs, hallways or certain working and wall surfaces, Grigio Adamello Agglo IT is therefore a functional choice where a stone-like look without large variation is wanted.

Care & fabrication

Indoors, Grigio Adamello Agglo IT should be sealed in a way that suits the binder system, or protected in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendation. That makes handling moisture and everyday soiling on floors and window sills easier.

For cleaning and care, mild, pH-neutral cleaners, water and soft cloths or mops are suitable. Strong acids and highly alkaline cleaners are to be avoided, because depending on the binder they can put unnecessary strain on the surface.

Avoid sustained intense heat exposure, aggressive degreasers and abrasive pads. Agglomerated stone is best cleaned and cared for when the surface is treated gently at regular intervals and not attacked with unsuitable chemicals.

In heavily used interior areas, clean and care for it regularly, remove fine dirt early and refresh protective layers as needed. That way the even grey look stays clean and calm in the long term.

Frequently asked questions

Is Grigio Adamello Agglo IT suitable for the kitchen?

For coordinated interior applications the material can also be used in kitchens. What is decisive, however, are the binder, the choice of surface and the specific use, because agglomerated stone reacts differently from solid granite.

Which surfaces are available for Grigio Adamello Agglo IT?

The surface finishes available in stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.

What actually is Grigio Adamello Agglo IT?

It is an agglomerated stone, that is, an industrially manufactured material of mineral constituents and binders. In use, the even, predictable stone look is what comes to the fore.

How do I clean Grigio Adamello Agglo IT correctly?

For cleaning and care, use only mild, pH-neutral cleaners and soft cloths. Aggressive acids, strong alkalis and abrasive pads are unsuitable.

Can Grigio Adamello Agglo IT be used outdoors?

The material is intended primarily for interior use. For external surfaces it should always be checked very precisely whether the binder and the build-up are suitable for that.

Grigio Adamello Agglo IT or natural stone?

Agglomerated stone offers a calmer and more even appearance. Natural stone brings more individual variation, but often also more geological character and, depending on the rock type, different technical advantages.
