LAMINAM Fokos Talco is a light porcelain slab in a chalky off-white with a powdery, textile effect. At ROSSITTIS it is used for kitchens, bathrooms and large-area interior architecture wherever a soft light tone without a marble décor is wanted.

About LAMINAM® Fokos Talco
Fokos Talco is not a hard white, but a soft, slightly powdery light tone. The colour lies between chalk, talc and a very light grey. Through its fine, almost textile movement, the slab acquires more depth than a purely smooth white, yet remains considerably calmer than marble or quartzite. This makes it a good fit for homely, minimalist and Scandinavian-influenced concepts.
The series is manufactured in Italy as a large-format ceramic slab. Visually, Talco recalls chalky plasters, trowelled walls or a very fine stone-dust render rather than classic natural stone. Technically, however, you benefit from a dense porcelain surface that behaves considerably more calmly in the kitchen and bathroom than open-pored light limestones.
With light surfaces in particular, everyday suitability is an issue. Fokos Talco offers the low water absorption and good ease of cleaning typical of ceramic. That makes the slab interesting for worktops, washing areas, splashbacks and large-area wall claddings. Compared with real limestone it is less delicate in dealing with acid, grease and moisture.
The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down. A polished finish is conceivable, but shifts the series considerably towards high gloss. At ROSSITTIS, LAMINAM Fokos Talco is available as a large-format slab for kitchen worktops, washstands, wall claddings, furniture fronts and further interior applications.
The honest assessment: Fokos Talco is a good choice for light architecture with little visual noise. Anyone looking for striking natural veining or a Mediterranean stone effect should look rather towards marble or travertine.
LAMINAM® Fokos Talco is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Naturale matt
Fokos Talco does not normally need sealing. Neutral cleaners, clear water and a soft cloth are recommended for cleaning and care. On light matt surfaces, coffee, limescale, metal abrasion and colourants should not be left lying for long. Avoid abrasive sponges on finished surfaces and protect the edges during installation and use.
Frequently asked questions
Is LAMINAM Fokos Talco suitable for the kitchen?
Yes. The ceramic surface is very well suited to light kitchens, as long as usual soiling such as coffee or metal abrasion is removed regularly.
Which surface suits Fokos Talco?
The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.
Where does LAMINAM Fokos Talco come from?
The slab is produced in Italy as a large-format ceramic surface.
How do I clean Fokos Talco?
Neutral cleaners and a soft cloth are sufficient for cleaning and care. Sealing is not normally necessary.
Fokos Talco or light limestone?
Talco is more homogeneous and easier to care for, limestone more natural and more porous. For light interiors suited to everyday use, ceramic is often the more relaxed solution.
