Adria Dorada

Adria Dorada is a golden-beige limestone with a warm, decorative effect in interiors. At ROSSITTIS it is used for floors, wall claddings and prestige internal surfaces, wherever a friendly golden tone is called for instead of a cool grey or white.

About Adria Dorada

Adria Dorada is a stone for interiors that need warmth. Its effect tends towards golden beige, honey and gentle cream, with an air that is decorative rather than technical overall. In rooms that are deliberately meant to read as friendly, prestigious or Mediterranean in particular, the material plays to its strength. It is not a neutral background but a carrier of colour.

Its trade classification lies in the limestone segment. In design terms, Adria Dorada is therefore closer to warm decorative limestones than to matter-of-fact hard rocks. Compared with very calm cream tones the stone reads as more colourful and more inviting; compared with heavily veined decorative stones, on the other hand, more planar. It is precisely this balance that makes it interesting for internal floors, wall claddings and classic fit-out projects.

Finishes

Adria Dorada is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Poliert

Adria Dorada should be sealed carefully in interiors, particularly on floors, in bathrooms and where it is used as a covering slab. That makes cleaning and care easier and reduces the penetration of moisture and dyes.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, a soft cloth and little water are suitable. Acidic cleaners, descalers and aggressive bathroom chemicals should be avoided.

In kitchens and bathrooms, oil, wine, coffee, cosmetics and lemon juice should not be left to act for long. On warm, paler marble tones, stains and matt zones can become visible.

Regular, gentle maintenance cleaning makes more sense than infrequent heavy deep cleaning. That keeps the surface more even and calmer over the long term.

It is first and foremost an internal stone. For openly weathered external surfaces, more robust and more clearly documented materials are usually the better choice.

Adria Dorada or Crema Marfil?

Adria Dorada usually reads as more golden and warmer. Crema Marfil is more homogeneous and more neutral in its beige, but both demand the care usual for marble.
