About Caesarstone® Quarz 4011 Cloudburst Concrete ICON
Cloudburst Concrete is neither a neutral white tone nor a classic marble look. The slab moves between broken white, cream and light grey, and thus brings the character of a mineral concrete surface into the interior without appearing coarse or unfinished. In open kitchens, hotel bathrooms and purist reception areas in particular this is powerful, because the surface appears clear and modern without becoming sterile.
Compared with Fresh Concrete, Cloudburst appears livelier and more spatial. The marking is not loud, but considerably more strongly modelled. This makes the material particularly suitable for larger islands and long runs on which the surface may take effect. Set against genuine fair-faced concrete or filled walls, the look remains controllable: no open pores, no mineral efflorescence, no restless jumps between batches.
For everyday use this is a very practical material. The surface is not porous, is less acid-sensitive than calcareous natural stones and can be used very well for kitchen and bathroom projects. Cloudburst Concrete ICON requires no impregnation. The dense engineered quartz surface is designed for low-maintenance interior applications.
For cleaning and care, mild cleaning agents, water and a soft cloth are sufficient. On light, clouded surfaces in particular it is worth removing limescale rings and grease splashes promptly.
You should avoid abrasive sponges, strongly aggressive descalers and unnecessarily harsh chemicals. Regular, gentle cleaning and care keeps the matt concrete look most stable.
For thermal shocks and hard impact edges, the usual caution with composite materials applies. Trivets and careful handling of cut-outs remain sensible.
