About DIRESCO Quarz SL101 Taj Mahal
Sublime Taj Mahal takes up the familiar colour world of the natural quartzite Taj Mahal, but translates it into a controlled, even composite surface. The overall mood is sand-beige to warm cream, overlaid with beige-gold veins that run softly across the surface. This makes the material read as elegant and calm, without taking on the wild character of some natural quartzites. In kitchens, bathrooms and high-grade furniture or wall surfaces in particular, that is of interest wherever the warm Taj Mahal character is wanted, but with a more predictable appearance.
Diresco manufactures this material in Belgium as an engineered quartz of the Sublime line. The format is 318 x 155 cm, with thicknesses of 12 and 20 mm. The surface is virtually non-porous, insensitive to staining and geared to high-grade internal applications. Velvet
The surface is brushed, much like a satin finish — softer minerals are removed and a subtle depth with a matte effect is created. The velvety soft feel is characteristic and design-led. Anticato

Care & fabrication
SL101 Taj Mahal needs no classic natural stone sealer, because the engineered quartz surface is virtually non-porous. That markedly reduces everyday maintenance compared with more open-pored natural stones.
