Caesarstone® Quarz 6041 Nordic Loft

Caesarstone® 6041 Nordic Loft is a warm creamy grey engineered quartz from the Classico line with a fine, evenly distributed black speckling on a taupe ground. A Scandinavian, restrained solid-colour character — ideal for furniture, wall claddings, vanity tops and visually calm interior fit-outs in 13 mm thickness.

Polyester-bonded engineered quartz from the Caesarstone Quartz Surfaces Classico line. Composition approx. 93 % ground natural quartz + 7 % unsaturated polyester binder and mineral pigments. Manufactured using the Bretonstone® vacuum vibration process at approx. 90 °C curing temperature. Mohs hardness 6–7, non-porous (no impregnation required). Code 6041 identifies the solid-colour variant with a fine black speckled structure on a warm creamy-grey taupe base tone. Limited heat resistance (the polyester binder decomposes from 150–160 °C), not UV-stable — strictly interior use only. Caesarstone Forever warranty for interior use. In some markets Nordic Loft has been discontinued from the regular Caesarstone range.

About Caesarstone® Quarz 6041 Nordic Loft

Caesarstone® 6041 Nordic Loft belongs to the Quartz Surfaces Classico line of the Israeli engineered stone pioneer Caesarstone Ltd. (founded in 1987 in Kibbutz Sdot Yam, listed on NASDAQ since 2012). Caesarstone distinguishes three product families: the classic Quartz Surfaces (polyester engineered quartz, around 93 % ground natural quartz with polymer binders and pigments), the Mineral™ line introduced in 2024 (a low-silicosis material alternative with a reduced crystalline quartz content) and Lioli Porcelain (sintered porcelain). Within the Quartz Surfaces there are three stylistic tiers: Classico (calm solid colours and fine textures), Supernatural (5xxx codes, fluid marble veining) and ICON (5xxx codes, dramatic premium marble looks).

Finishes

Caesarstone® Quarz 6041 Nordic Loft is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Polished

A glossy surface with the highest possible degree of colour intensity — the standard finish in the engineered stone and engineered quartz segment. Easy to care for in everyday use and resistant to common household acids. A prestigious choice for kitchen worktops, wall claddings and exposed surfaces with a classic high-gloss character.

Care & fabrication

Caesarstone 6041 Nordic Loft is a non-porous polyester engineered quartz and needs no impregnation. Its care is markedly simpler than with natural stone.

Daily cleaning: a soft microfibre cloth, warm water, mild washing-up liquid or a neutral multi-purpose cleaner. Afterwards wipe over with clear water and rub dry.

Do not use: scouring agents, steel wool, cleaning pads with coarse abrasive particles, highly concentrated acids (hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid) and strongly alkaline cleaners (oven cleaners, drain cleaners). Oven and grill cleaners, acetone-based solvents and chlorine-based bleaches can also produce matting over time — in case of accidental contact, rinse off immediately with plenty of water.

Heat resistance: critical. NEVER set hot pans, pots, baking trays, casserole dishes or irons down directly on the surface — from around 150–160 °C the polyester binder begins to decompose, and lasting discolouration, whitish marks or, in extreme cases, thermal stress cracks can arise. Trivets and pan rests are obligatory, not a recommendation.

UV stability: not given. Caesarstone Quartz Surfaces may be used exclusively indoors. When used in rooms with heavy sun exposure (south/west windows with direct incidence), the material can discolour slightly over the years. For UV-stable applications, switch to Diresco BIO-UV or porcelain.

Kitchen worktop: cutting work exclusively on a separate chopping board — the Mohs hardness of 6–7 does largely protect against scratches, but steel knives in combination with hard residues of the food being cut (bones, grains of quartz sand) can produce fine micro-scratches.

Stain treatment: wipe fresh splashes (wine, coffee, tomato sauce, turmeric) away immediately. Remove stubborn stains with warm water, a soft cloth and a neutral all-purpose cleaner — NO scouring agent, NO acid. With dried-on food residues, first soak with a damp cloth.

Bathroom and vanity top: pH-neutral bathroom and glass cleaners are unproblematic. Rinse away splashes of limescale remover immediately; do not let them dry on. Remove limescale rings at the tap with a microfibre cloth and warm water.

Repair: fine micro-scratches in the polish can be evened out by proper re-polishing. With deeper mechanical damage (edge chips from impact), a Caesarstone fabricator works with colour-matched repair fillers and a final polish. The Caesarstone Forever warranty covers material defects in approved interior applications.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Caesarstone code number 6041 mean?

Caesarstone assigns a four-digit code number to every colour version. 6xxx codes were historically used for the Concetto line and for newer solid-colour versions of the Classico family. 6041 Nordic Loft belongs to the Classico family as a solid colour with a fine speckled texture. Other Caesarstone tiers have different code ranges: 2xxx and 4xxx are classic Classico solids, while 5xxx can be Quartz Surfaces ICON or Lioli Porcelain Supernatural.

What exactly is Caesarstone 6041 Nordic Loft made of?

Around 93 % ground natural quartz of various grain sizes, 7 % polyester polymer binder and pigments. Manufactured by the Bretonstone® vacuum vibro-compaction process at around 90 °C. The material is non-porous and needs no impregnation — unlike natural stone.

Is Caesarstone Quartz Surfaces heat-resistant?

Only to a limited extent. The polyester binder begins to decompose from around 150–160 °C, which can lead to lasting discolouration or, in extreme cases, thermal stress cracks. Hot pans, pots or irons must ALWAYS be set on trivets — no “setting down briefly”. Anyone who needs absolute heat resistance should reach for porcelain (Laminam, Lioli Porcelain, Caesarstone Mineral™) or natural granite.

Can I use Caesarstone 6041 Nordic Loft outdoors?

No. Quartz Surfaces are not UV-stable — direct sunlight leads to discolouration and embrittlement of the binder over the years. The Caesarstone warranty and fabricator approval apply exclusively to interior applications. For UV-stable engineered quartz applications, Diresco BIO-UV (BU codes) is the direct alternative.

Why is Nordic Loft available from you only in 13 mm?

Caesarstone produces Nordic Loft in 13, 20 and 30 mm. In ROSSITTIS stock we currently carry the 13 mm version, which is particularly suitable for wall claddings, vanity tops, furniture surfaces and delicate applications in which material thickness is to be visually reduced. For classic kitchen worktops with standard loading we recommend 20 mm; for robust heavy loading, 30 mm.

Is it true that 6041 Nordic Loft is being discontinued?

Yes, the colour has already been discontinued from the regular Caesarstone range in some markets. Our 23 stock slabs are therefore available for a limited time. For projects with a larger material requirement or a longer planning horizon we recommend either a prompt reservation or examining current Caesarstone solid-colour alternatives such as 4030 Cosmopolitan White, 6011 Intense White or 6131 Bianco Drift.

What is the Caesarstone Forever warranty?

Caesarstone grants a lifetime material warranty to the original owner on all Quartz Surfaces indoors. The condition is proper fabrication by an authorised Caesarstone fabricator and application within the approved interior specifications. The warranty covers material defects, but not damage caused by the user, such as heat damage or UV discolouration from impermissible exterior use.

How much material do you currently have in stock?

We currently carry 23 raw slabs of Caesarstone 6041 Nordic Loft in 13 mm thickness with a polished surface. As the colour is partly being discontinued, we recommend a prompt enquiry and, where appropriate, a reservation if you are interested. Caesarstone standard slab format: around 305 × 144 cm.

What does Caesarstone® Quarz 6041 Nordic Loft cost?

The price depends on the format, thickness, surface finish and fabrication — there is no serious flat rate per square metre. Business customers see prices once their B2B account is activated; private customers receive a complete quote through a fabricator near them.
