About Khazana
Khazana lives from warmth, not from the look of hardness. The surface moves between beige, Khazana, brown and softly flowing, partly cloudy transitions. That makes the stone read as homely, warm and considerably softer than classic hard stones. In kitchens, bathrooms, wall surfaces and table applications in particular, Khazana can create a very inviting atmosphere. Compared with calm beige limestones the appearance is livelier, but compared with many brown marbles it is less formal and smoother.
In the trade, Khazana is listed as a marble. Geologically the material sits within a very dense, siliceous sedimentary rock range, which makes its technical position somewhat more particular than that of classic calcite marbles. For planning, however, the trade perception is decisive: Khazana is understood through its warm marble look and its decorative effect in interiors. Anyone looking for the homeliness of a brown marble tone, but who values somewhat more dense, stony substance, will find an interesting material here.
Technically, Khazana sits at a bulk density of around 2,650 to 2,720 kg/m³, a compressive strength of around 110 to 120 MPa and a flexural strength of around 10 to 16 MPa. That is solid for decorative interior applications. At the same time the material should not be confused with a black granite or quartzite: in design reality, Khazana convinces above all through its look and its effect in a room, less through maximum technical reserves. For worktops, stairs, wall claddings and exclusive furniture parts, however, it is very usable.

Poliert
Politur ist die klassischste Veredelung für Marmor und Kalkstein — eine glänzende Oberfläche mit höchstmöglicher Farbintensität und ausgeprägter Tiefenwirkung der Aderung. Je nach mineralischer Zusammensetzung kann die Wirkung stellenweise mattglänzend sein. Säureempfindlich — Wein, Zitrone und Essig hinterlassen Ätzspuren bei längerer Einwirkung.
Care & fabrication
Khazana should be sealed carefully on worktops, tables and vanity tops, so that water, grease and coloured liquids adhere less easily. With warm beige and brown tones in particular, that makes care considerably easier.
For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, soft cloths and clear water are suitable. On kitchen surfaces, coffee, wine, oil and acidic foods should not be left standing on the surface unnecessarily long.
Avoid aggressive household cleaners, strongly alkaline heavy-duty cleaners and abrasive pads. Khazana can be cleaned and cared for better in the long term if the surface is treated gently.
For interior applications, clean and care for it regularly and check the sealer at sensible intervals. That way the warm, decorative effect of the material stays calm over the long term.
