Luna Marron
Luna Marron is an Indian “soft quartzite” with a warm mocha-brown, creamy ground tone and a fine, organically natural stone structure. Compared with classic premium quartzites such as Taj Mahal or Azul Imperial, this “soft quartzite” family shows greater sensitivity to scratching and higher water absorption — a warm, elegant choice for designed interiors with a more conscious approach to care.
Indian quartzite of the “soft quartzite” family (together with Luna Grey and Luna Wave). Petrographically a metamorphosed quartzite with a relatively low degree of metamorphism — the quartz grains are less densely fused than in classic premium quartzites (Taj Mahal, Azul Imperial), which leads to higher water absorption, greater sensitivity to scratching and reduced acid resistance. Mohs hardness around 6, water absorption higher than standard quartzites. A character between a dense sandstone and a classic quartzite.
