Blanco Diamante is a pale granite for projects seeking a white-grey natural stone with a clear, matter-of-fact effect. The surface shows fine speckling on a pale ground, without strong clouding or coarse crystal blocks. This makes the stone read as controlled and even. For facades, floor areas, stairs and calm kitchens this is very easy to plan with.
The stone comes from Spain and belongs to the family of pale Iberian granites. Compared with Blanco Alba, Blanco Diamante often appears somewhat more technical and slightly harder in the contrast of its minerals. Against pale marble it is clearly more robust, but against very dense white granites it is somewhat more sensitive in its strength values. That is precisely why Blanco Diamante is not an all-rounder but a pale granite to be used cleanly, with an attractive appearance and a sensible technical profile.
The characteristic values show this balanced picture: around 2,630 kg/m³ bulk density, around 0.26 % water absorption, around 74.85 MPa compressive strength and around 10.96 MPa flexural strength. The water absorption is good for a granite, but the strength values lie below those of the strongest white granites. That does not mean the stone is unsuitable, but that construction, format and slab thickness must be properly considered. For wall claddings, window sills, internal floors, stairs and many worktops, Blanco Diamante can be used well; under very heavy loads a conscious detailed design is worthwhile.
The finishes currently available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down this page. At ROSSITTIS, Blanco Diamante is available as a raw slab, in tiles, as treads and risers, window sills, skirtings, kitchen worktops and for wall and facade elements.
The frank assessment: Blanco Diamante is an attractive, pale granite, but not a high-performance white granite for every extreme situation. Its strength lies in its clear appearance and its good planability. Anyone seeking maximum strength is better off comparing the more robust granite leaders in the range.

Guide values for the stone type, taken from manufacturer and test reports. Natural stone is a natural product — individual batches and slabs can differ. For critical applications, request slab-specific test data.
Blanco Diamante is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Blanco Diamante should be sealed on kitchen and bathroom surfaces. That makes cleaning and care easier and reduces the penetration of oil, coffee or coloured liquids.
For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and a soft cloth are sufficient. Pale granites benefit from regular routine cleaning, even though they appear visually more tolerant than dark stones.
Avoid abrasive pads and aggressive cleaners without natural stone approval. Outdoors, good drainage, a suitable choice of finish and professional laying are decisive.
Precisely because of the more moderate strength values, careful use without unnecessary impact loading on edges is worthwhile. Blanco Diamante then remains very sound in service.
Yes, fundamentally it is. With around 2,630 kg/m³ bulk density and around 0.26 % water absorption, Blanco Diamante can be used well in many kitchens. Because of the more moderate strength values, however, the construction and the edges should be planned properly.

Blanco Diamante comes from Spain. It belongs to the pale Spanish granites with fine, calm speckling.
For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners and a soft cloth are sufficient. Sealing is advisable for kitchens and wet areas.
The stone is used for internal and external applications. Its low water absorption of around 0.26 % speaks for good external capability, as long as the format and the construction are chosen appropriately.
Blanco Alba is as a rule somewhat stronger in its overall mechanics and often reads as even calmer. Blanco Diamante offers a similarly pale appearance but demands somewhat more conscious detailed design.
