CTX BasicKeramik® ABK Ceppo di Gre
CTX BasicKeramik® ABK Ceppo di Gré is an Italian large-format porcelain from the ROSSITTIS house brand CTX BasicKeramik® with an authentic reproduction of the classic Lombard Ceppo di Gré conglomerate — rounded and angular pebble fragments in light grey, beige and muted brown, embedded in a creamy white carbonate matrix. The ABK porcelain delivers the iconic conglomerate picture of northern Italian Renaissance architecture in modern porcelain with full UV, heat and acid resistance.
A large-format porcelain from the ROSSITTIS house brand CTX BasicKeramik® with the conglomerate-look design “Ceppo di Gré”. The ABK marking identifies the Italian upstream manufacturer ABK Group from Solignano (province of Modena, Emilia-Romagna). A fully through-sintered ceramic of natural clays, feldspars, quartzes and mineral pigments, pressed and sintered above 1,200 °C. Water absorption < 0.1 %. Mohs hardness 7–8, fully heat-, acid-, scratch-, frost- and UV-resistant, food-safe. Design model: Ceppo di Gré is an authentic northern Italian natural stone — a Cretaceous lime-bearing pelagic conglomerate from the Lombard Iseo region, since the Renaissance one of the most important Lombard architectural stones (Milan Cathedral, classic palazzi of Lombardy). NOT a genuine natural stone, but a porcelain reproduction with all the technical advantages of that material class. CTX BasicKeramik® belongs to the same house brand family as our CTX BasicQuarz® (engineered quartz).
