About CTX BasicKeramik® ABK Iceberg
ABK Iceberg is a surface for clear, light interiors with a cool underlying mood. The name fits: the surface appears light, fresh and slightly icy without tipping over into a sterile pure-white look. In bathrooms, modern kitchens and contract-oriented rooms in particular this is of interest wherever a light surface is wanted that turns out less warm than beige and less decorative than marble.
As a ceramic porcelain surface, Iceberg belongs to the group of low-maintenance, technically controlled internal materials. Unlike natural stone, there is no geological scatter and none of the acid sensitivity typical of that material. This makes the material easy to plan with, above all for larger wall and floor surfaces. The light surface remains calm and lets other materials such as timber, metal or textiles come clearly to the fore.
In use, Iceberg works very well on floors, walls, in bathrooms, kitchens and in the contract sector. The material is particularly strong wherever the handling of light and brightness shapes the mood of a room. At ROSSITTIS, CTX BasicKeramik ABK Iceberg is available as a raw slab, tile, floor covering, wall cladding, splashback, vanity top and for further bespoke internal components.
Compared with Carrara looks, Iceberg is calmer and less stone-referential. Set against warm beige ceramics, the surface appears cooler and clearer. That does not make it universal, but it does make it very precise in its architectural effect.
The frank assessment: Iceberg is not a cosy, warm surface. Where a light, sober and clean interior surface is wanted, it works very well. For softer or Mediterranean concepts there are more suitable materials.

CTX BasicKeramik® ABK Iceberg is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Soft Touch
A standard finish in the matte ceramic segment — after firing, the material is additionally brushed. It feels distinctly gentler than naturale matt, with a warm, softly tactile appearance. Easy to maintain and stain-resistant — a design-led choice for demanding visible surfaces and living concepts.
Care & fabrication
ABK Iceberg needs no sealing. The ceramic surface is dense and designed for low-maintenance internal applications.
For cleaning and care, water, mild cleaners and a soft cloth or a clean mop are sufficient. On light surfaces, films of dirt, limescale marks and dyestuffs should be removed regularly.
Aggressive specialist chemicals and scouring agents are not necessary. Gentle, regular cleaning and care is entirely sufficient in everyday use.
For floors and wet areas, the appropriate finish matters more than complicated care. Matt variants often appear calmer and more practical there.
