About CTX BasicQuarz® 0720 Cement

0720 Cement translates the language of cement and concrete into an even quartz material. The tone lies in a mid cement grey, the surface is brushed and deliberately restrained. This makes the material appear urban and matter-of-fact, without being open-pored or raw. In kitchens, bathrooms, lofts and modern interior fit-outs in particular this is very interesting where a concrete aesthetic is sought, but with cleaner behaviour in use.

As an engineered quartz, Cement offers the advantages of an industrially controlled internal material. The surface stays even, smooth and easy to care for, without taking on the typical maintenance questions of real cement screed or exposed concrete. According to the product description, the material is tailored to worktops, window sills, vanity tops, shower trays and stairs. That in itself shows that everyday usability, and not mere decorative effect, is to the fore here.

Finishes

CTX BasicQuarz® 0720 Cement is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Satin-honed

The surface is brushed — softer minerals are removed in a targeted way, creating a subtle depth and a matt appearance. Easy to care for and suited to everyday use, resistant to acids from common household substances. A popular, more matt alternative to a polish in modern kitchens and living spaces.

Care & fabrication

0720 Cement as a rule needs no classic natural stone sealer. The engineered quartz surface is designed for easy-care internal applications.

For cleaning and care, water, mild cleaners and a soft cloth are sufficient. On grey surfaces, films of limescale and dirt should be removed regularly so that the cement look stays calm.

Scouring agents and aggressive special chemicals are not needed. Gentle, regular cleaning and care is sufficient in everyday use.

For worktops, stairs and window sills, clean detailed planning is above all what matters. That keeps the surface precise and capable in the long term.

Frequently asked questions

Is CTX BasicQuarz 0720 Cement suitable for a kitchen?

Yes. The engineered quartz surface is very well suited to kitchen worktops, window sills and other internal applications.

What finishes are available in 0720 Cement?

The finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.

Where does CTX BasicQuarz 0720 Cement come from?

The material belongs to the CTX BasicQuarz line and is an industrially manufactured engineered quartz material for interiors.

How do I clean 0720 Cement?

For cleaning and care, water, mild cleaners and a soft cloth are sufficient. A classic natural stone sealer is mostly not needed.

Can 0720 Cement replace real concrete?

Visually, in many interior projects, yes. The material is easier to care for and more controlled, while real concrete appears rawer and more individual.

0720 Cement or grey ceramic in a concrete look?

0720 Cement appears somewhat softer and more material-like. Concrete-look ceramic is mostly harder and more technical in impression.

What does CTX BasicQuarz® 0720 Cement cost?

The price depends on the format, thickness, surface finish and fabrication — there is no serious flat rate per square metre. Business customers see prices once their B2B account is activated; private customers receive a complete quote through a fabricator near them.
