CTX BasicQuarz 203T Nero Marquina is a deep black engineered quartz surface with white Marquina veining. At ROSSITTIS we carry it for worktops, splashbacks and interiors that are looking for the Nero Marquina look with a lower care effort.
203T Nero Marquina is the controlled, technical answer to the well-known Spanish black-and-white marble. The material shows a deep black to jet black ground with pale white veining and thereby reads as immediately elegant and high in contrast. In kitchens, bathrooms and prestigious interiors in particular this is attractive where the classic Marquina language is wanted, but without the acid sensitivity of genuine marble.
As an engineered quartz, the material is laid out for consistent interior applications. The surface remains predictable, non-porous and as a rule considerably less complicated than genuine Nero Marquina. In everyday use that is a clear advantage, especially with worktops, splashbacks and dark wet areas. At the same time the visual closeness remains great enough to take up the effect of a black marble pattern very well.
In use, 203T Nero Marquina convinces on worktops, splashbacks, wall panels, vanity units and further dark interior components. The material goes outstandingly well with brass, bronze, dark timber, glass and restrained lighting. At ROSSITTIS, CTX BasicQuarz 203T Nero Marquina is available as a raw slab, worktop, splashback, wall cladding, vanity top, window sill and for further made-to-measure interior components.
Compared with genuine Nero Marquina, the material is easier to care for and more even. Against purely black plain surfaces it reads as more decorative and more prestigious. That is precisely what makes it a good solution for dark interiors with a marble association.
The honest assessment: 203T Nero Marquina is not a natural stone and does not replace every geological depth of the original. For interiors in which the Marquina effect is called for with less stress in use, the material nevertheless makes a great deal of sense.

Polished
A glossy surface with the highest possible degree of colour intensity — the standard finish in the engineered stone and engineered quartz segment. Easy to care for in everyday use and resistant to common household acids. A prestigious choice for kitchen worktops, wall claddings and exposed surfaces with a classic high-gloss character.
Care & fabrication
203T Nero Marquina as a rule needs no classic natural stone impregnation. The engineered quartz surface is laid out for easy-care interior applications.
For cleaning and care, water, mild cleaners and a soft cloth are enough. On black surfaces, limescale, grease and soap residues should be removed regularly so that no streaks are left standing.
Scouring agents and aggressive special chemicals are not necessary. Regular, gentle cleaning and care is the best solution.
For dark worktops and splashbacks, clean detailed planning is important. That is how the Marquina look stays calm and precise over the long term.
