About DIRESCO Quarz AU035 Divinity Black

Divinity Black is not a marbled black but a precise black surface with fine pale particles that give the material a granite-like liveliness. This makes the material look deep black without being flat. In kitchens, bathrooms and prestige interiors in particular, that is interesting when black is wanted but not as a monotonous plain surface. The surface stays calm but has enough texture to be exciting in larger formats.

Diresco produces this material in Belgium as an engineered quartz with a high quartz content and a bio-based resin matrix. The surface is almost entirely non-porous, does not have to be sealed and is clearly intended for resilient interior applications. For planners in particular, this combination is attractive: a controlled look, clear reproducibility and fewer questions of care than with dark natural stone. Divinity Black is available in 12, 20 and 30 mm and in the Poli and Velvet finishes.

DIRESCO Quarz AU035 Divinity Black is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Polished

A glossy surface with the highest possible degree of colour intensity — the standard finish in the engineered stone and engineered quartz segment. Easy to care for in everyday use and resistant to common household acids. A prestigious choice for kitchen worktops, wall claddings and exposed surfaces with a classic high-gloss character.

Velvet

The surface is brushed, much like a satin finish — softer minerals are removed and a subtle depth with a matte effect is created. The velvety soft feel is characteristic and design-led. Easy to maintain and suited to everyday use; an elegant choice for demanding kitchen and wall surfaces where a softly tactile appearance is wanted.

Care & fabrication

Divinity Black needs no classic natural stone impregnation. The surface is almost non-porous and designed for easy-care interior applications.

For cleaning and care, water, mild cleaners and a soft cloth are enough. On black surfaces, limescale, soap residues and grease should be removed regularly so that no streaks remain visible.

Scouring agents and aggressive special chemicals are not necessary. Gentle, regular cleaning and care is the best solution.

For dark worktops and vanity units, clean detail planning matters as much as care. That is how the black surface stays precise and calm over the long term.
