About Adanga White
Adanga White is one of those pale marbles that work above all through calm and cleanliness in the overall picture. Its ground colour is white to slightly cream-white, and the figure usually remains discreet. This makes the stone well suited to interiors in which white surfaces are meant to read as high-grade, without bringing along the strong veining of the Italian marble classics. In stairwells, bathrooms and pale floor schemes in particular, that is very useful.
The stone comes from India, from the Ambaji area, and is traded as a white marble. Compared with Carrara or Statuario, Adanga White usually reads as calmer and less contrasty. Against pure Thassos white it appears somewhat warmer and less cool. That makes it interesting for projects looking for a pale marble that reads as friendly and clear without appearing too austere or too expressive.
Technically, Adanga White is soundly positioned: around 2,720 kg/m³ bulk density, only about 0.07 % water absorption, a compressive strength of roughly 73.0 to 78.0 MPa and a flexural strength of around 8.8 MPa. The very low water absorption is a positive for wet areas and well-maintained internal applications, but it changes nothing about the acid sensitivity. Like every marble, Adanga White therefore demands suitable cleaners, a sealer and a conscious approach to acidic substances in everyday kitchen and bathroom use.

Care & fabrication
Adanga White should be sealed well, above all in kitchens, bathrooms and on floor areas. That makes cleaning and care easier and helps to keep water, oil and dyes better under control.
For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, a soft microfibre cloth and little water are suitable. Acidic cleaners, descalers and vinegar are unsuitable.
Coffee, wine, oil, lemon juice and cosmetics should not be left standing on the surface for long. Even with a denser marble, etch marks or stains can otherwise arise.
Regular, gentle maintenance cleaning makes more sense on pale marbles than infrequent, aggressive deep cleaning. That keeps the surface more even over the long term.
