About Effusion

Effusion — the name refers to the outflow of lava — is a Brazilian quartzite with a slab pattern that combines natural force and aesthetics in a unique way. The characteristic red-orange and golden veins run through a dark, almost black ground mass and create a pattern reminiscent of cooling lava flows or glowing evening clouds.

As a quartzite, Effusion is petrographically one of the hardest and most resistant natural stones. High acid resistance, excellent abrasion resistance and frost resistance make it technically suitable for almost every field of application. The aesthetic force of the slab pattern does, however, call for deliberate planning: Effusion is a stone that takes the foreground itself and tolerates little competition from other strong design elements.

Finishes

Effusion is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Poliert

Quartzite such as Effusion is exceptionally easy to care for and robust. No regular sealing required. Daily cleaning with clear water or a mild pH-neutral cleaner is sufficient. Avoid abrasives on polished surfaces.
