About Frost

Frost is a Brazilian quartzite with an exceptionally bright, almost icy colouring: a transparent white with silvery-blue shimmer and fine, clear veins that make the slab image look like a frozen water surface. The quality of brightness and clarity of this material is hard to surpass.

As a quartzite, Frost is one of the hardest and most resistant natural rocks. High acid resistance, excellent abrasion resistance and good frost resistance make it suitable for almost all areas of application. The bright, clear colouring is particularly suited to rooms in which light and openness are to the fore.

Poliert

Politur ist die klassischste Veredelung für Quarzit — eine glänzende Oberfläche mit höchstmöglicher Farbintensität und ausgeprägter Tiefenwirkung. Je nach mineralischer Zusammensetzung kann die Wirkung stellenweise mattglänzend sein. Als Silikatgestein vollständig säurebeständig und kratzhart — ideal für Küchenarbeitsplatten und Sichtflächen.
