About Itagreen

Itagreen is not a quiet green stone but a material with direction, movement and depth. The image works with differing green tones, darker passages and lighter vein or banding zones. Depending on the slab, the effect can range from a calm olive green to distinctly more dramatic. That is exactly why Itagreen is readily used where a surface is not merely meant to be a background but is allowed to build character. Compared with compact green marbles the stone appears harder and more mineral; compared with wild Brazilian exotics it usually remains easier to control.

Itagreen is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Poliert

Politur ist die klassischste Veredelung im Hartgesteinsegment — eine spiegelglatte, hochglänzende Oberfläche mit höchstmöglicher Farbintensität und maximaler Tiefenwirkung der Mineralstruktur. Als säurebeständiges Silikatgestein ist polierter Granit pflegeleicht und für Küchenarbeitsplatten, Wandverkleidungen und repräsentative Sichtflächen erste Wahl.

Care & fabrication

After installation, Itagreen should be sealed on worktops and interior surfaces so that water, oil and coloured liquids adhere less readily. A good sealer makes upkeep noticeably easier.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and soft cloths are sufficient. Polished green surfaces in particular look calmer when limescale residues, grease and fingerprints are removed regularly.

Avoid aggressive descalers, harsh abrasives and strongly film-forming care products. Even a hard green granite is easier to clean and care for when the surface is not loaded unnecessarily.

On kitchen and table surfaces, clean and care for the stone regularly, do not leave dyes and oils standing for long, and refresh the sealer at sensible intervals. That keeps the green depth of the material clearly legible.
