Juparana Fantastico Grigio belongs to the legendary Juparana family of Brazilian gneisses, known for their unmistakable flame-like or wave-like figuring. The “Grigio” variant stands out through a dominant grey tone with golden-brown and cream-coloured inclusions, which gives the slab image a cooler, more urban effect than the warmer Juparana grades.

Petrographically, Juparana Fantastico Grigio is a gneiss, a metamorphic rock with a characteristic layered texture. This gives the stone its typical flame figuring, which is more or less pronounced depending on the block and the direction of cut.
