About Kashmir Gold Scuro

Kashmir Gold Granite is one of the warm Indian granites that have worked very reliably in kitchens, floors and stairs for years. The colour lies between gold, beige and slightly creamy areas, along with darker speckles and softer movements. This makes the stone appear friendlier than grey granites, but markedly more robust and more matter-of-fact than yellow marbles. In interiors with timber, beige or sand tones in particular, Kashmir Gold is a very rewarding material.

The stone comes from India, from Tamil Nadu, and is listed in the trade in various gradations of lightness. The distinction between lighter and darker grades is above all visually relevant; technically the material remains in the same robust granite segment. Pflegeleicht, kratzunempfindlich und alltagstauglich — beliebte Alternative zur Politur in modernen Küchen und Wohnräumen.

Care & fabrication

Kashmir Gold Granite should be sealed on floors, plinths and other cut pieces, so that dirt, water and grease adhere less readily. In heavily used areas in particular this makes care noticeably easier.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and soft cloths or mops are enough. On floors, fine dirt particles should be removed regularly so that the surface stays calm.

Avoid aggressive descalers, strongly film-forming care products and abrasive pads. A bright granite stays easier to clean and care for over the long term when the surface is treated gently.

In entrance and floor areas, clean and care for the stone regularly and refresh the sealer as required. In this way the warm golden effect of the material stays clean and even.
