Ocre Itabira works through warm brown and black tones with a lively veining and a clear direction of movement. As a Brazilian granite, the material appeals to planners, stonemasons and clients who are not looking for an arbitrary stone but for a clearly legible slab pattern with an identity of its own. Satin-honed

The satin surface is created by brushing, which selectively removes softer minerals and gives the surface a slight depth. A matte appearance with subtle light reflection and a warm feel to the touch. Easy to maintain, insensitive to scratches and suited to everyday use — a popular alternative to a polish in modern kitchens and living spaces.

Care & fabrication

Ocre Itabira can be cleaned easily in everyday use and cared for over the long term with an impregnation. For kitchens, stairs and entrance areas we recommend a pH-neutral natural stone cleaner, soft cloths and an impregnation on a silane basis, so that oil, coffee or red wine do not draw in unnecessarily. Avoid strongly alkaline deep cleaners and abrasive pads.
