Cafe Imperial is a Brazilian granite in a dark brown with black and bronze-coloured minerals. At ROSSITTIS it is used for kitchens, stairs, window sills and external applications wherever a warm dark hard stone with a classic effect is called for.

About Cafe Imperial

Cafe Imperial is a dark granite for projects looking for warmth within the dark spectrum. Instead of a pure black or a cold anthracite, the stone shows a deep brown with black, bronze-coloured and in part slightly metallic-looking minerals. This makes it appear richer and more domestic than many black hard rocks. Kitchens, stairs, window sills and made-to-measure worked pieces in particular gain depth from it without becoming restless.

The stone comes from Brazil, above all from Minas Gerais or Bahia, and has long been established on the market as a dark granite. Petrographically, Cafe Imperial is more precisely classified as a syenite. For trade, fabrication and comparison, however, its assignment to the granite segment remains correct, because in use and perception the material moves precisely there. Compared with Tan Brown, Cafe Imperial usually appears finer and quieter; compared with Baltic Brown, more homogeneous and less effect-driven.

Poliert

Politur ist die klassischste Veredelung im Hartgesteinsegment — eine spiegelglatte, hochglänzende Oberfläche mit höchstmöglicher Farbintensität und maximaler Tiefenwirkung der Mineralstruktur. Als säurebeständiges Silikatgestein ist polierter Granit pflegeleicht und für Küchenarbeitsplatten, Wandverkleidungen und repräsentative Sichtflächen erste Wahl.

Satiniert

Die satinierte Oberfläche entsteht durch Bürsten, das weichere Minerale gezielt entfernt und der Fläche eine leichte Tiefe gibt. Mattes Erscheinungsbild mit subtiler Lichtreflexion und haptisch warmer Wirkung. Pflegeleicht, kratzunempfindlich und alltagstauglich — beliebte Alternative zur Politur in modernen Küchen und Wohnräumen.

Care & fabrication

As a dark hard stone, Cafe Imperial is easy to look after, but on polished kitchen and bathroom surfaces it should nevertheless be sealed. Oil, limescale and coloured residues are then easier to control.

For cleaning and maintenance, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners are sufficient. On dark surfaces, grease films, water marks and soap residues should be removed regularly, so that the stone does not appear dull.

Abrasives and unnecessarily aggressive cleaners make no sense. Usually it is the finish and the joints that suffer rather than the stone itself.

Outdoors, the suitable finish, good drainage and clean construction determine the result more strongly than chemical maintenance measures.
