Royal Beige is a warm beige hard rock with a fine-grained figure typical of granite and discreet reddish and black mineral accents. At ROSSITTIS it is used for worktops, floors, stairs, facades and everyday-capable internal surfaces, wherever a warm, robust natural stone is called for.
Royal Beige is a warm-looking hard rock with a classic granite appearance. The surface lives on a sand-coloured ground tone between beige, cream and pale grey-white, crossed by darker mineral grains and occasional reddish or black accents. This gives the stone a calm, warm effect that combines well with timber, warm metals and pale interiors. For worktops, floors, stairs and facades this is a very everyday-capable natural stone without much drama.
In the international natural stone trade, Royal Beige is listed as a hard rock of the granite family — in keeping with its observed technical behaviour. Compared with warm limestones such as Jura Gelb, Royal Beige is markedly more robust and acid-resistant; compared with cool grey granites it is friendlier and more homely in tone.
Technically, Royal Beige is robustly positioned as a hard rock. Granites of this type typically lie at around 2,650–2,800 kg/m³ bulk density, with water absorption usually well below 0.5 % and compressive strength in the range of 150–250 MPa. Acid resistance and frost resistance are fundamentally very good for this rock family. In practice this means: citrus, vinegar and wine do not damage the surface, hot pots are no problem, and external applications also work without complications. For kitchen worktops, floor areas, facades and loaded internal applications this is a very low-maintenance profile.
The finishes currently available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down this page. At ROSSITTIS, Royal Beige is available as a raw slab, as tiles, as treads and risers, window sills, skirtings, worktops and for bespoke internal and external components.
The frank assessment: Royal Beige is not a feature stone and not a decorative eye-catcher. Its strength lies in a warm, calm granite surface with high everyday capability. For projects that want to use beige natural stone robustly and without worry, it is a very solid choice.

Technical data
Guide values for the stone type, taken from manufacturer and test reports. Natural stone is a natural product — individual batches and slabs can differ. For critical applications, request slab-specific test data.
Royal Beige is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Poliert
As a hard rock, Royal Beige is easy to look after. A sealer is not essential, but it is sensible on kitchen worktops and in heavily used areas — it makes cleaning and care easier and reduces visible water and grease rings.
For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners and a soft cloth are sufficient. Because the stone is acid-resistant, citrus, wine or vinegar do not damage the surface — a clear advantage over beige marbles or limestones.
On polished surfaces, water marks and fingerprints are visually more apparent than on matt or textured finishes. Regular dry wiping keeps the look even. Outdoors, a slip-resistant textured finish and clean installation matter more than care chemistry. As a hard rock, Royal Beige remains permanently load-bearing there.
Frequently asked questions
Is Royal Beige a granite or a marble?
A hard rock of the granite family. The Turkish marble or limestone of the same name is a different material and does not apply to Rossittis Royal Beige.
Is Royal Beige suitable for a kitchen?
Yes, very much so. As a hard rock the stone is acid-resistant, scratch-resistant and easy to look after — markedly more everyday-capable than a beige limestone or marble.
What finishes are available in Royal Beige?
The finishes currently available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.
Is Royal Beige frost-resistant?
Yes. As a hard rock the stone is frost-resistant and well suited to permanent external applications — with a suitable, unpolished finish.
Royal Beige or Jura Gelb?
As a hard rock, Royal Beige is markedly more acid-resistant and more everyday-capable. Jura Gelb reads as warmer and more historic, but demands more care and is more demanding in kitchens.
