About Amazon Flower

Amazon Flower is a stone with markedly more movement than a classic standard granite. Its colour world ranges from blue and grey-blue through darker mineral zones to lighter clouds and lines that give the material its characteristic, almost floral effect. This makes the surface read as lively and decorative without losing technical presence. For kitchens, wall panels, stairs and statement surfaces, that is very interesting.

The stone comes from Brazil, from the Rondônia area, and is listed on the market as a granite. Compared with calm pale granites such as New Caledonia or Bianco Sardo, Amazon Flower is markedly more expressive. Against heavily veined quartzites it stays clearly within the granite segment: robust, hard and capable in everyday use. For projects that demand colour and load-bearing capacity at the same time in particular, that is a very strong profile.

Poliert

Politur ist die klassischste Veredelung im Hartgesteinsegment — eine spiegelglatte, hochglänzende Oberfläche mit höchstmöglicher Farbintensität und maximaler Tiefenwirkung der Mineralstruktur. Als säurebeständiges Silikatgestein ist polierter Granit pflegeleicht und für Küchenarbeitsplatten, Wandverkleidungen und repräsentative Sichtflächen erste Wahl.

Care & fabrication

Amazon Flower is easy to look after, but should nevertheless be sealed on kitchen, bathroom and window sill surfaces. That makes cleaning and care easier and reduces grease and limescale films.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, a soft cloth and regular dry wiping are sufficient. Aggressive specialist chemistry is usually unnecessary with granite.

In the kitchen, oil, coffee and coloured liquids should nevertheless not be allowed to dry on. Even a robust granite stays more even over the long term with regular maintenance cleaning.

Outdoors, a suitable finish, clean drainage and proper installation matter more than chemical care. Textured finishes are frequently at an advantage there.
