About Caesarstone® 904 Lunaburst

Caesarstone 904 Lunaburst is a calm, warm surface for projects looking for natural layering rather than hard veining. The colouring moves between sand, beige and cream, joined by undulating, softly bedded bands. That recalls the fine movement of sandstone, but looks more controlled and more homogeneous than genuine sedimentary stone. For kitchens, bathrooms, calm wall surfaces and large formats with few joints, that is very convincing.

Compared with genuine sandstone or limestone, Lunaburst is more technical and markedly easier to care for. There is no open porosity, no classic natural stone sealing and no geological randomness of variation. Compared with entirely smooth beige slabs, the surface brings enough texture with it to look lively. Anyone looking for a warm, natural stone effect with great predictability gets a very practical solution here.

Finishes

Caesarstone® 904 Lunaburst is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Honed C400

A special surface on Caesarstone ceramic — in feel and effect it corresponds to the naturale matt finish. Level in appearance, somewhat rougher than polished, closed by the firing. Easy to care for, insensitive to scratches and stain-resistant — for demanding kitchen worktops and wall claddings with matt elegance.

Care & fabrication

Caesarstone 904 Lunaburst needs no impregnation. The porcelain surface is dense and makes cleaning and care very straightforward.

For cleaning and care, mild cleaners, water and a soft cloth are enough. On warm pale surfaces, coffee, tea and coloured food residues should nevertheless be removed promptly.

Abrasive pads and aggressive special chemicals are not necessary. What matters more is regular, gentle maintenance and careful handling of edges.

Indoors and out, Lunaburst remains easy to care for. Normal cleaning is enough to keep the sandy stone look permanently clear and calm.

Frequently asked questions

Is Caesarstone 904 Lunaburst suitable for the kitchen?

Yes. As a porcelain slab, Lunaburst is dense, easy to care for and very well suited to kitchen worktops and splashbacks.

Which finishes are there for Caesarstone 904 Lunaburst?

The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.

Where does Caesarstone 904 Lunaburst come from?

Lunaburst belongs to the Caesarstone porcelain line. It is a technically developed design surface and not a natural stone.

How do I clean and care for Caesarstone 904 Lunaburst?

For cleaning and care, mild cleaners and a soft cloth are enough. An impregnation is not necessary.

Is Caesarstone 904 Lunaburst suitable for outdoors?

Yes, fundamentally. The ceramic material logic also makes the product interesting for selected exterior applications, provided the build-up and fixing are appropriate.

Lunaburst or genuine sandstone?

Lunaburst is easier to care for, denser and more even. Genuine sandstone looks more geological and more natural, but demands markedly more acceptance of the material and more care.

What does Caesarstone® 904 Lunaburst cost?

The price depends on the format, thickness, surface finish and fabrication — there is no serious flat rate per square metre. Business customers see prices once their B2B account is activated; private customers receive a complete quote through a fabricator near them.
