Caesarstone® 915 Almond Stone belongs to the Lioli Porcelain Supernatural Collection — the porcelain line of the Israeli engineered stone pioneer Caesarstone Ltd. Caesarstone distinguishes three material families: the classic Quartz Surfaces (polyester engineered quartz, around 93 % ground natural quartz), the Mineral™ line introduced in 2024 (a low-silicosis material alternative) and Lioli Porcelain (sintered porcelain). Across this ground tone runs a very fine, fluidly flowing vein structure in restrained taupe and somewhat darker beige tones — like a delicately drawn network of veins that flows organically through the surface without stepping dramatically into the foreground. In places the veining condenses into smaller knots or pinched zones, then continues softly and in a controlled way. The picture recalls pale Mediterranean marbles (Crema Nuova, Crema Marfil) and warm limestones (Galala, Apulia Beige) — a natural, calm elegance without dramatic statement veining.
It is precisely this design restraint that is the strength of the design. Almond Stone does not compete with other material effects; it works as a reliably warm architectural stage. Technically it is a fully sintered large-format porcelain, manufactured by the classic high-pressure, high-temperature sintering process at Lioli Ceramica: mineral raw materials (natural clays, feldspars, quartzes and pigments) are pressed under high pressure into large-format slabs and sintered at temperatures above 1,200 °C. The result is a chemically non-reactive, almost pore-free ceramic material with a water absorption of < 0.1 %. The material properties are those of the premium porcelain class: full UV stability (approved for exterior applications), acid resistance (wine, lemon and vinegar leave no etch marks), heat resistance (hot pans can be set down directly), scratch resistance (Mohs hardness 7–8), frost resistance and food safety.
As a porcelain, Almond Stone thereby overcomes the central material limits that genuine Mediterranean marbles and limestones bring with them in use: Crema Marfil, Galala or Apulia Beige are acid-sensitive (lemon, wine and tomato sauce leave etch marks), suitable for exterior use only with restrictions (freeze-thaw cycles, acid rain) and need regular impregnation. Almond Stone delivers the same warm pictorial idea in a technically consistently designed porcelain quality — without these care requirements.
Ex works, Caesarstone produces Almond Stone in the jumbo large format 1,600 × 3,200 mm in thicknesses of 6 mm and 12 mm. The standard finish is “Silk” (the Caesarstone designation; corresponding to “Soft Touch” in the ROSSITTIS stock designation) — a matt, velvety, silky treatment with a particularly pleasant feel that lets the warm Mediterranean character of the design work undisturbed.
