Canyon Wave is a Turkish marble with a creamy white base tone and powerfully wave-like flowing gold-green vein courses — an exceptional composition with a landscape quality like a canyon current or a glacial meltwater geometry. An acid-sensitive marble class with an elegant pictorial composition for prestige wall and vanity-top applications.
Canyon Wave is a Turkish marble from the extensive Anatolian marble deposits. For decades Turkey has been one of the world's most productive marble exporters, with a particular focus on pale to warm creamy selections.
Geologically it is a classic carbonate marble — a platform limestone from the Mesozoic depositional areas of the former Tethys, recrystallised by tectonic pressure metamorphism and transformed into crystalline marble under elevated temperature and pressure conditions.
In the slab image, Canyon Wave shows an exceptional composition: a creamy white to soft ivory base tone, shot through with powerfully wave-like flowing vein courses in gold-creamy, anthracite-grey and unexpectedly emerald-greenish accent lines. The vein figure reads like a landscape storm composition — flowing main courses branch into finer accompanying lines, with occasional more powerful nodal zones recalling glacial meltwater or a canyon current. Hence the brand name “Canyon Wave”.
For the application this means: Canyon Wave is an exceptional choice for prestige wall cladding, vanity tops, bar counters, table surfaces and internal surfaces with luxurious, dramatic ambitions. Combined with warm timber, brass, bronze and muted natural tones, the material develops an atmospheric, luxurious, almost landscape-like effect.
Technically, Canyon Wave is acid-sensitive like all carbonate marbles (Mohs hardness about 3) and needs corresponding care. The Mediterranean building tradition shows, however, that such marbles last for centuries with correct installation and care.
The finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down.
For anyone comparing Canyon Wave with other materials: stylistically close are other Turkish marbles with a powerfully animated vein figure such as Calacatta Imperiale (Turkish), Turkish Calacatta Crema and various Apuan-like marble selections from Turkey. Anyone who needs the same dramatic image in a robust and acid-proof form should look towards porcelain with a Calacatta look (Laminam Diamond Collection, CTX BasicKeramik® RES Calacatta).
Our honest assessment: Canyon Wave is a particularly characterful choice for projects with ambitions towards a dramatic marble character. Anyone who needs maximum acid resistance for intensive kitchen use should reach for porcelain or quartzite. But anyone who values the landscape-like, animated Turkish marble character with its gold-green-creamy vein dramaturgy will find an exceptional material here.

Finishes
Canyon Wave is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Poliert
Canyon Wave is a carbonate marble and reacts sensitively to acids. Mohs hardness about 3.
Daily cleaning: soft microfibre cloth, clear water and a pH-neutral natural stone cleaner.
Do not use: acidic cleaners, descalers, abrasives.
Sealing: directly after installation and, depending on loading, advisable every 12–18 months.
Kitchen worktop: only with an awareness of care. Wipe acidic splashes away immediately.
Vanity top and bathroom: wipe limescale-bearing water splashes away regularly. On no account remove limescale rings at the tap with a descaler.
Repair: etch marks and scratches can be evened out by professional re-polishing.
