A matt appearance created by fine honing with C220 grit — the level surface looks calm, with a somewhat more intense colour effect than C120; light honing marks are possible. More maintenance-intensive than polished, but more scratch-resistant and matt-elegant — a popular choice for modern floors and wall claddings.

Care & fabrication

A white marble like Nimbus White is sensitive to acids and to staining. Impregnate carefully after laying. Take up acidic substances immediately. For daily cleaning use exclusively pH-neutral natural stone cleaners. No scouring agents. On pale marbles traces are more visible – consistent care is particularly important.
