Drama Green is a dark green Greek marble with strong markings and high-contrast light and dark passages. At ROSSITTIS it is used for exclusive bathrooms, wall claddings, stairs and striking reception areas whenever green marble is to be set deliberately as a statement.

About Drama Green
Drama Green is not a restrained stone. Its colour world ranges from deep green through blackish-green zones to lighter, in places whitish structures and animated lines. This produces a highly expressive image that draws attention immediately. Anyone looking for a green marble that is not decoratively pleasant but striking and luxurious quickly arrives at exactly this material family.
The stone comes from Greece, from the Drama area. Compared with Rain Forest Green, Drama Green appears denser, more mineral and less tree-like in its patterning. Against Verde Guatemala it often appears harder in contrast and more graphic. This strong individuality makes it ideal for accent surfaces, vanity tops, stairs, fireplaces or exclusive wall claddings, but less so for large-area, calm standard applications.
Technically, depending on the variety, Drama Green lies at a bulk density of about 2,650 to 2,720 kg/m³, water absorption of around 0.18 to 0.19 %, a compressive strength of around 56.1 to 102.2 MPa and a flexural strength of about 8.0 to 17.3 MPa. The abrasion values of about 5.81 to 6.94 cm³/50 cm² show that not every grade is ideal for heavily loaded floor areas. For interior walls, vanity tops and prestige applications this is usually uncritical; for intensively used floors a more careful selection should be made. The stone also remains acid-sensitive.
The finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down this page. Outdoors, matt or textured finishes make more sense than a high gloss. At ROSSITTIS, Drama Green is available as a raw slab, in tiles, as a stair tread and riser, window sill, skirting, vanity top and for exclusive wall and reception areas.
The honest assessment: Drama Green is a stone with character. For neutral series projects or low-maintenance standard kitchens it is rarely the best choice. But if you are looking for a genuinely strong green marble with a prestige effect, it is hard to overlook in design terms.

Technical data
Guide values for the stone type, taken from manufacturer and test reports. Natural stone is a natural product — individual batches and slabs can differ. For critical applications, request slab-specific test data.
Drama Green is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Poliert
Drama Green should be carefully sealed, above all on polished surfaces, in bathrooms and where it is used as a worktop or vanity top. That makes later cleaning and care noticeably easier.
Use exclusively pH-neutral natural stone cleaners and a soft microfibre cloth. Acidic cleaners, descalers and strong bathroom chemicals can cause dull zones on dark green marbles too.
On worktops and shelf surfaces, oil, soap, cosmetics, wine or lemon juice should not be left standing for long. On strongly marked stones, stains are often visually less noticeable, but technically the surface remains sensitive all the same.
For heavily loaded floor areas an assessment of the intended use beforehand is worthwhile. Not every variety of Drama Green is ideal for high abrasion loading.
Frequently asked questions
Is Drama Green suitable for a kitchen?
As an exclusive worktop, yes, but with a certain care effort. The water absorption of about 0.18 to 0.19 % is low, but as a marble Drama Green remains acid-sensitive.
Which finishes are available for Drama Green?
The finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.
Where does Drama Green come from?
Drama Green comes from Greece, more precisely from the Drama area. It is one of the best-known Greek green marbles.
How do I clean Drama Green correctly?
For cleaning and care you should use pH-neutral natural stone cleaners and soft cloths. Acidic cleaners and descalers are unsuitable.
Is Drama Green suitable for outdoor use?
With restrained expectations and a suitable finish, yes. For external surfaces with slip-resistance requirements, a matt, textured finish makes more sense than polished.
Drama Green or Verde Guatemala?
Drama Green often appears more contrast-rich, more mineral and harder in its image. Verde Guatemala appears, depending on the batch, more compact and more classically dark green.
