Golden Spider lives from contrast and precision. The base colour is light, between cream white and warm ivory, over which golden to brown veins run, branching finely and giving the material its typical net structure. On larger wall surfaces in particular, or as a washstand and floor in the bathroom, this creates a very distinctive character: decorative, but not heavy. Compared with Calacatta or Statuario marbles, Golden Spider appears warmer and more ornamental, without tipping over into baroque excess.
The stone comes from Greece and belongs to the Greek marble family, which is known for dense, readily polishable decorative stones. In practice, Golden Spider is used above all where not only brightness but also figuring is called for. The material works particularly well in bathrooms, entrance situations, wall claddings, fireplace installations and selected floor areas. As an alternative to purely white marbles it brings considerably more warmth into the project, but it also demands a more deliberate design understanding, because the veining becomes part of the design.
Technically, Golden Spider is soundly positioned for a marble. Bulk density is 2,776 kg/m³, compressive strength 159.8 MPa and flexural strength 13.3 MPa. This speaks for a dense and hard-wearing structure. Nevertheless the stone remains a marble and reacts sensitively to acids. For interior floors, wall claddings, stairs and carefully used worktop or washstand surfaces it is very well suited. For permanently polished external surfaces, on the other hand, it is not a first choice, even if individual matt external applications are possible on a project-specific basis.
The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down. A more matt surface finish brings the veins out more naturally and gives the stone more tactility. Antiqued finishes can make sense where the surface is to appear softer and less brilliant. At ROSSITTIS, Golden Spider is available as a raw slab, in tiles, as tread and riser, window sill, skirting, as well as vanity and interior worktop material.
The honest assessment: Golden Spider is a design stone and not an unobtrusive all-rounder. In heavily used family kitchens or on roughly exposed external surfaces there are more robust solutions. In high-quality interiors with a focus on colour, veining and material effect, on the other hand, it is distinctly strong.

Guide values for the stone type, taken from manufacturer and test reports. Natural stone is a natural product — individual batches and slabs can differ. For critical applications, request slab-specific test data.
Golden Spider is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Golden Spider should be carefully sealed before use, particularly on floors, washstands and in bathrooms. This reduces the uptake of moisture, care products and coloured liquids.
For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, clear water and soft cloths or mops are the right choice. On bathroom surfaces, soap residues, cosmetics and limescale should not be allowed to dry on; on kitchen or counter surfaces, no acidic foods.
Avoid vinegar cleaners, descalers, chlorine-based household products and abrasive sponges. Marble can only be cleaned and cared for well over the long term if the surface is treated gently and the sealer is checked regularly.
On floor areas, clean and care for the surface regularly, remove fine dirt early and re-treat traffic zones as required. In wet areas, consistent drying after use helps keep the surface calm for longer.
Golden Spider can be used in carefully used kitchens, but as a marble it is acid-sensitive. For pure working areas with heavy use, granite or quartzite are usually easier to care for.

The stone comes from Greece. Greek marbles of this kind are used above all for high-quality interior fit-out and decorative wall and floor solutions.
For cleaning and care, use only pH-neutral natural stone cleaners and soft cloths. Acidic products are unsuitable for this marble.
For classic, polished external surfaces, Golden Spider is not the first choice. Its strengths lie clearly indoors, above all on walls, in bathrooms and on decorative floors.
Golden Spider appears warmer, more decorative and more finely branched. Calacatta usually works with larger, clearer veins and an altogether calmer ground surface.
