Kabos comes from Greece and is one of the pale Mediterranean marbles that have had their place in European architecture since antiquity. The colouring moves in the spectrum from a warm white cream through light beige to restrained grey veining, which enlivens the slab image without dominating it.
As a Greek marble, Kabos brings a long tradition of craftsmanship with it: Greece is one of the historically most important marble-producing countries in Europe, and the geological particularities of the region – tectonic pressure conditions and mineral composition – yield a stone with an even crystal structure and good polishability.
Marble, like all calcareous rocks, is sensitive to strong acids and to mechanical wear. For interior applications, however – floors, wall cladding, bathrooms and prestige entrance areas – Kabos is an excellent choice: the warmth of the material and its natural lustre make it hard to replace in these contexts.
At ROSSITTIS, Kabos is available as a raw slab, floor slabs, tiles, stair covering and in special formats.

Kabos is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Marble such as Kabos reacts sensitively to acids. Wipe up acidic substances such as lemon juice, vinegar or wine at once – do not let them act. Seal after installation and clean regularly with a pH-neutral natural stone cleaner. Avoid abrasives. For daily care a soft cloth, clear water and a suitable stone care product are sufficient.
Kabos is a marble from Greece.
Only with deliberate care. Marble is more sensitive to acid than granite or quartzite. It is possible for kitchen worktops, but it requires consistent sealing and the immediate removal of acids.
Seal it, use a pH-neutral natural stone cleaner, no acidic products, no abrasives.
Kabos is one of the pale, calm Greek marble grades with moderate veining. More heavily veined grades such as Volakas or Drama have a more expressive slab image.
