About Krishna Black
Krishna Black belongs to the black natural stones that work through calm and substance. The appearance is dark to deep black, medium-grained and largely non-directional. That makes the stone read as more closed than many black granites shimmering brown or green, and at the same time somewhat livelier than an absolutely homogeneous reference material such as Nero Assoluto Zimbabwe. For floors, stairs, plinths and dark architecture this mixture is very convincing.
The stone comes from India, from Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu, and on the market is closely associated with trade names such as Regal Black, Nero Impala India or Indian Black. Geologically it sits within the range of the diorites, but in the natural stone trade it is clearly listed as a black granite. That classification is plausible for planning and fabrication, because its technical behaviour and typical applications lie precisely there. Care & fabrication
Krishna Black should be sealed on floors, plinths and working surfaces, so that water, limescale and greases adhere less easily. On dark surfaces in particular, that makes care considerably easier.
For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and soft cloths or mops are enough. Dust, limescale and fingerprints should be removed regularly on dark surfaces so that the calm effect is preserved.
Avoid aggressive descalers, care products that build up a heavy film, and abrasive pads. Even a very robust black granite can be cleaned and cared for better if the surface is treated gently.
Indoors and outdoors, clean and care for it regularly and renew the sealer at sensible intervals. On textured surfaces, dirt should be released from the surface early.
