About LAMINAM® Calacatta Oro Venato
LAMINAM Calacatta Oro Venato takes the classic Calacatta idea in a warmer direction. The ground surface is bright white to off-white, over which grey and golden veins run, giving the surface more warmth than cool Statuario décors. This makes the material appear luxurious, but also homely. In kitchens, bathroom furniture, tables or light wall surfaces in particular this is very convincing where a marble look with a warm undertone is wanted.
In material terms it is a porcelain large-format surface from Laminam. That means high dimensional accuracy, large formats and more everyday tolerance towards moisture, stains and cleaning stress than with real marble. For planners this is particularly attractive where the visual quality of a warm Calacatta image is to be retained, but the surface has to be more predictable and more relaxed in daily use.
Calacatta Oro Venato is at its strongest above all in high-quality interior applications: kitchen worktops, bathroom surfaces, furniture fronts, wall claddings and tables. The warm veining goes very well with timber, brass, bronze and sandy natural tones. In contrast to very cold white-grey décors, this material creates a softer, homelier mood without losing precision.
The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down. At ROSSITTIS, LAMINAM Calacatta Oro Venato is currently held as a slab and is therefore suited to made-to-measure kitchens, bathroom projects, furniture and wall solutions.
The honest assessment: anyone looking for geological originality and natural irregularity will always see an interpretation in ceramic. But anyone looking for a very high-quality warm Calacatta look with technical composure and clear planning certainty gets a strong surface here.

Guide values for the stone type, taken from manufacturer and test reports. Natural stone is a natural product — individual batches and slabs can differ. For critical applications, request slab-specific test data.
LAMINAM® Calacatta Oro Venato is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Polished
The only glossy surface available in ceramic — the material is fired and then polished. High gloss with a pronounced colour intensity and mirror effect. Unlike polished natural stone, polished ceramic is the most sensitive surface in this material class — micro-scratches can become visible under intensive use.
Soft Touch
A standard finish in the matte ceramic segment — after firing, the material is additionally brushed. It feels distinctly gentler than naturale matt, with a warm, softly tactile appearance. Easy to maintain and stain-resistant — a design-led choice for demanding visible surfaces and living concepts.
Care & fabrication
LAMINAM Calacatta Oro Venato is easy to care for, but on light kitchen and bathroom surfaces it should be cleaned and cared for regularly so that limescale, grease and colourants do not remain visible. For everyday use, water, mild cleaners and soft cloths are sufficient.
pH-neutral ceramic cleaners, water and microfibre cloths are suitable for cleaning and care. On very light surfaces, coffee, oil, limescale and cosmetic residues should be removed promptly.
Avoid strongly abrasive pads and aggressive specialist chemicals. Ceramic surfaces too can be cleaned and cared for more attractively if they are treated gently.
On worktops, furniture and wall surfaces, clean and care for the surface regularly and do not let films of dirt build up. In this way the warm Calacatta look stays clear over the long term.
