LAMINAM® Travertino Bianco belongs to the Hado collection of the Italian porcelain pioneer Laminam S.p.A. The banding is not rigid and mechanical, but slightly irregular, with soft transitions and occasional stronger accent lines — an authentic reproduction of the original travertine sediment structure.

Both the open and the filled variant have care implications: wine, lemon, tomato sauce, cola and descaler leave dull etch marks immediately; oil and foodstuffs can penetrate open pores. The porcelain reproduction delivers the same visual image in a technically consistent, everyday-capable quality — without care obligations and without open porosity.
Technically it is a fully sintered-through large-format porcelain. Mineral raw materials (natural clays, feldspars, quartzes and pigments) are pressed under high pressure into large-format slabs and sintered at temperatures above 1,200 °C. The result is a chemically non-reactive, almost pore-free ceramic material with water absorption < 0.1 %. The material properties: full UV stability, acid resistance, heat resistance, scratch resistance (Mohs hardness 7–8), frost resistance and food safety.
Laminam produces Travertino Bianco in impressively large formats: a Rain surface in the format 1,000 × 3,000 mm in 3+ mm thickness (with a glass fibre mesh backing for wall and furniture applications), Bush Hammered (bocciardato) in the format 1,000 × 3,000 mm in 5 mm thickness and in the full format 1,620 × 3,240 mm in 5, 12+ and 20 mm thicknesses. The full format 1,620 × 3,240 mm is one of the largest porcelain formats available worldwide and allows continuous slab surfaces without butt joints — an exceptional compositional advantage, particularly for vertical statement walls, floor surfaces and large-format façade elements.
