Padang TG53 Absolute Black belongs to the Padang series of Chinese natural stones and is a gabbro – a plutonic igneous rock with a high proportion of dark silicates, traded on the natural stone market as a black granite. The colour is what the name promises: a deep, pure black without significant inclusions or patterning.

As a gabbro, Padang TG53 Absolute Black possesses the highest robustness among natural stones: extreme hardness, acid resistance, very high compressive strength and frost resistance. These properties make it suitable for practically all fields of application, particularly wherever maximum resistance is required: heavily frequented floors, external paving, façades, stairs and – as a technical reference material – in laboratories and workshops.

Anticato, untreated

The Eco Antik surface is flamed and then intensively brushed — the result is a more rustic, livelier look with a pronounced tactile quality. Recommended for kitchens as well as interior wall and floor claddings in which the material is meant to work as a characterful statement stone with a craftsman-like appeal.

Flamed + brushed once

The surface is roughened by heat and brushed once to smooth sharp-edged mineral residues and remove loose material. The feel is somewhat gentler than purely flamed, it remains slip-resistant, and the colour is less intense than polished. The standard choice for outdoor areas, terraces and heavily used floor areas.
