About Pedras Salgadas

Pedras Salgadas is a granite for projects that put their trust in calm, durability and a clear dimension-stone presence. The material shows a light grey ground with white feldspar content and darker speckling, but is very balanced overall and without directionality. Politur ist die klassischste Veredelung im Hartgesteinsegment — eine spiegelglatte, hochglänzende Oberfläche mit höchstmöglicher Farbintensität und maximaler Tiefenwirkung der Mineralstruktur. Als säurebeständiges Silikatgestein ist polierter Granit pflegeleicht und für Küchenarbeitsplatten, Wandverkleidungen und repräsentative Sichtflächen erste Wahl.

Satiniert

Die satinierte Oberfläche entsteht durch Bürsten, das weichere Minerale gezielt entfernt und der Fläche eine leichte Tiefe gibt. Mattes Erscheinungsbild mit subtiler Lichtreflexion und haptisch warmer Wirkung. Eco Antik

Die Eco-Antik-Oberfläche wird geflammt und intensiv gebürstet — es entsteht eine rustikalere, lebhaftere Optik mit ausgeprägter Haptik. Empfohlen für Küchen sowie innenliegende Wand- und Bodenverkleidungen, in denen das Material als charaktervoller Statement-Stein mit handwerklicher Anmutung wirken soll.

Geflammt + 1 x gebürstet

Die Oberfläche wird durch Hitze aufgeraut und einmal gebürstet, um scharfkantige Mineralreste zu glätten und loses Material zu entfernen. Etwas sanftere Haptik als rein geflammt, weiterhin rutschhemmend, Farbe weniger intensiv als poliert. Standardwahl für Außenbereiche, Terrassen und stark beanspruchte Bodenflächen.

Care & fabrication

Pedras Salgadas is easy to look after, but should be sealed after installation, particularly on floor areas and in external applications. Water absorption of 0.21 % is low and supports its good everyday performance.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and a soft cloth or mop are sufficient. On rougher finishes, films of dirt should be removed regularly so that the surface stays light and even.

Avoid unnecessarily aggressive specialist cleaners and heavily abrasive pads. Even with a robust granite the rule holds: oil, dyes and residues from the building site should not be left on the surface longer than necessary.

Outdoors, functioning drainage, moderate use of de-icing salt and regular maintenance cleaning matter. It is not frost that is critical, but poorly maintained layers of dirt on textured surfaces.
