About Silver White

Silver White is a pale granite for projects that need brightness without great spectacle. The colour lies between white, silver and a light pale grey, joined by a fine to medium grain pattern that reads as calm and very clean. In kitchens, on window sills, stairs and façade details in particular this is an advantage: the stone stays present without pushing itself to the fore. For pared-back interiors and matter-of-fact external applications this is very usable.

The material is understood here on the basis of the Portuguese Branco do Vimieiro or White Silver type. It is precisely this origin that makes sense in design terms: a pale European granite with a durable polish and robust everyday practicality. Compared with Colonial White, Silver White reads as more homogeneous and cooler; compared with Bianco Sivec, considerably harder and easier to maintain.

Finishes

Silver White is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Poliert

Silver White is easy to maintain, but should nonetheless be sealed on pale polished kitchen and bathroom surfaces. That makes dealing with oil, limescale and coloured residues easier.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners are sufficient. On pale surfaces, metal marking, grease films and limescale rings should be removed regularly.

Abrasives and aggressive specialist chemicals are unnecessary. The material is robust, but the surface and the joints repay matter-of-fact care.

Outdoors, the appropriate finish, good drainage and correct installation matter more than additional chemical care.

Where does Silver White come from?

Silver White is carried here on the basis of the Portuguese Branco do Vimieiro or White Silver type and therefore stands for a pale Portuguese granite.

Which finish suits Silver White?

How do I care for Silver White?

A good sealer and pH-neutral natural stone care are usually sufficient. Pale surfaces should regularly be freed of limescale and grease films.
