About Soft Green

Soft Green is an Indian gneiss which is listed in the market under the trade category of granite. The colouring – a muted, natural green with grey-green inclusions – recalls moss grass or slate, but through the even, fine-grained gneiss structure it is more homogeneous and denser than would be the case with those materials.

As a hard rock, Soft Green possesses excellent technical properties: high hardness, acid resistance, good compressive strength and frost resistance. This combination makes it outstandingly suited to external paving, terraces, entrance areas, steps and more robust internal applications. The muted green colouring appears restrained and harmonises well with natural materials such as timber, stone and planting.
