About Giallo SF Real

Giallo SF Real stands for exactly the kind of yellow granite that has worked in practice for years: friendly, robust and versatile to combine. The colour lies between yellow, beige and slightly golden inclusions, joined by a clearly legible granite grain with darker contrasts. The material brings warmth into kitchens and entrance areas without appearing ornamental or overloaded. Compared with very homogeneous engineered quartz, the natural stone character remains visible; compared with heavily patterned exotics, the image remains controllable.

Finishes

Giallo SF Real is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Poliert

Giallo SF Real should be sealed after fitting or installation so that greases, oils and coloured liquids penetrate the surface less easily. For kitchens and heavily used floors this makes sense despite the robust rock type.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, clear water and soft microfibre cloths are recommended. Crumbs, dust and limescale residues should be removed regularly so that the surface stays permanently clean and calm.

Avoid aggressive descalers, strongly alkaline deep cleaners and abrasive pads. Even a hard-wearing granite is easier to clean and care for if the surface is not attacked by unnecessarily harsh agents.

For external surfaces the rule is: clean and care for them regularly, remove organic deposits early and refresh the sealer at suitable intervals. The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down.

Frequently asked questions

Is Giallo SF Real suitable as a worktop?

Yes. With a bulk density of about 2,572 to 2,580 kg/m³, compressive strength of around 139.3 MPa and water absorption of 0.37 %, Giallo SF Real is well suited to kitchen worktops and counters.

Which surfaces make sense for Giallo SF Real?

The surface finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.

Where is Giallo SF Real quarried?

The stone comes from Brazil, from the Barra de São Francisco area. The region is one of the most important source areas for exported granites.

How do I care for Giallo SF Real day to day?

pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and a microfibre cloth are sufficient for cleaning and care. Grease, oil and strongly coloured liquids should nevertheless not be left lying on worktops for long.

Can Giallo SF Real be used outdoors?

Yes, in principle it can. The low water absorption and the robust granite structure speak for external applications, provided the surface, installation and drainage are properly planned.

Giallo SF Real or Bianco Sardo?

Giallo SF Real brings more warmth and a yellow-beige character, while Bianco Sardo appears cooler and more grey-white. Technically both are versatile as robust granites.
