About Infinity Brown

Infinity Brown is a stone for projects that seek tension and depth. The base colour is dark brown to espresso, joined by white veins, cloudy inclusions and localised lighter patches that can recall a night sky. That makes the material read as luxurious and dramatic, but not black. Compared with calm brown granites, Infinity Brown is considerably more animated; compared with golden quartzites, darker and heavier. For kitchen islands, splashbacks, tables and large wall surfaces in particular, this is a material with a clear stage presence.

The stone comes from Brazil and is traded as a quartzite. It therefore combines the decorative power of an exotic with the high hardness of silicate rocks. In practice, Infinity Brown is used above all in upmarket interior fit-out, because colour and markings have a particularly strong effect there. Anyone looking for an alternative to dark marble, but wanting more resistance to scratches and acids, quickly arrives in this material class.

Finishes

Infinity Brown is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Poliert

Infinity Brown should be sealed carefully on worktops, tables and wall surfaces, so that water, grease and coloured media adhere less easily. On dark quartzites in particular, that makes everyday use considerably easier.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, soft cloths and clear water are enough. On dark surfaces, limescale, oil and fingerprints should be removed regularly so that the surface stays calm.

Avoid strongly alkaline heavy-duty cleaners, waxy care layers and abrasive pads. Even a hard quartzite can be cleaned and cared for better if the surface is treated gently and not over-treated unnecessarily.

On kitchen surfaces, clean and care for it regularly, do not leave oils and sauces standing for long, and check the sealer at sensible intervals. That way the dark depth stays clearly legible in the long term.
