Marinace Verde is a green Brazilian exotic stone with a dark green matrix and high-contrast rounded pebbles. At ROSSITTIS it is used for distinctive kitchens, counters and wall surfaces whenever a green natural stone with maximum individuality is called for.
Marinace Verde is a natural stone with exceptionally strong recognition value. The dark green to blackish green matrix is shot through with rounded inclusions that appear in green, grey and darker tones. This creates a geological image that is considerably livelier and bolder than classic green marble or green granite.
The stone comes from Bahia in Brazil. Petrographically it is described as a conglomerate, or breccia, yet in the trade it runs within the granite segment. That is fit for practice, because the material is used for worktops, counters and solid interior components and technically sits within the hard rock range.
The technical values are correspondingly strong: around 2,760 kg/m³ bulk density, only approx. 0.04 % water absorption, roughly 257 MPa compressive strength and about 26 MPa flexural strength. This makes Marinace Verde outstandingly suitable for demanding interior applications. The low water absorption makes the stone particularly interesting for darker and coloured surfaces.
The finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block further down. At ROSSITTIS the stone is available as an unsized slab, worktop, splashback, counter, washstand top and wall cladding. As an alternative to green marble it appears harder, more graphic and considerably less classical.
Our honest assessment: Marinace Verde is not a mainstream material. If you are looking for a calm green surface, you will sooner reach for Verde Alpi or Seagrass. If you wish to make a geological statement, you will find something special here.

Finishes
Marinace Verde is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.
Polished
Polishing is the most classic finish in the hard stone segment — a mirror-smooth, high-gloss surface with the highest possible colour intensity and maximum depth effect in the mineral structure. As an acid-resistant silicate stone, polished granite is easy to care for and the first choice for kitchen worktops, wall claddings and prestigious exposed surfaces.
Care & fabrication
Marinace Verde should be professionally impregnated on kitchen and interior surfaces. For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and a soft cloth are sufficient. Limescale, grease and colouring substances should be removed regularly so that the green structure stays clear. Avoid coarse abrasives and hard impact loads on edges.
Frequently asked questions
Is Marinace Verde suitable for the kitchen?
Yes. With only around 0.04 % water absorption, Marinace Verde is very well suited to worktops.
Which finishes are available for Marinace Verde?
The finishes available from stock are listed in the »Finishes« block on this page.
Where does Marinace Verde come from?
Marinace Verde comes from Bahia in Brazil.
How do I care for Marinace Verde?
For cleaning and care we recommend an impregnation, neutral cleaners and a soft cloth.
Marinace Verde or green marble?
Green marble appears more classical and often more finely veined, Marinace Verde more graphic and considerably more exotic.
What does Marinace Verde cost?
The price depends on the batch, thickness, surface finish and fabrication — with natural stone there is no serious flat rate per square metre. Business customers see prices once their B2B account is activated; private customers receive a complete quote through a fabricator near them.
