About Jacaranda da Bahia

Jacaranda da Bahia is not a restrained stone. The image lives from red-brown, rosé, violet undertones and darker bands that give the material a clear direction. This produces a powerful, almost textile effect that appears very distinctive over larger areas. Compared with Rosso Balmoral, Jacaranda da Bahia is more animated and more strongly directional; compared with Juparana types it is more compact and stronger in colour. Poliert

Politur ist die klassischste Veredelung im Hartgesteinsegment — eine spiegelglatte, hochglänzende Oberfläche mit höchstmöglicher Farbintensität und maximaler Tiefenwirkung der Mineralstruktur. Als säurebeständiges Silikatgestein ist polierter Granit pflegeleicht und für Küchenarbeitsplatten, Wandverkleidungen und repräsentative Sichtflächen erste Wahl.

Geflammt + 1 x gebürstet

Die Oberfläche wird durch Hitze aufgeraut und einmal gebürstet, um scharfkantige Mineralreste zu glätten und loses Material zu entfernen. Etwas sanftere Haptik als rein geflammt, weiterhin rutschhemmend, Farbe weniger intensiv als poliert. Standardwahl für Außenbereiche, Terrassen und stark beanspruchte Bodenflächen.

Care & fabrication

Jacaranda da Bahia should be sealed on terrace slabs, floors and made-to-measure cuts so that water, dirt and greases adhere less readily. The very low water absorption is a strong point, but it is no substitute for sensible surface protection.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and — depending on the finish — a cloth, mop or soft brush are sufficient. On textured external surfaces, organic growth should be removed regularly so that the colour does not appear dull.

Avoid aggressive descalers, film-forming care products and harsh abrasive products. Even a robust hard stone is easier to clean and care for when the surface is treated gently.

Outdoors, clean and care for the stone regularly, remove leaves and dirt early and refresh the sealer at sensible intervals. That keeps the intense colouring of the material clearly legible for longer.
