About Jadore
Jadore Green Quartzite is one of those green exotics that work not only through colour but also through depth. The basic mood lies in the green spectrum, joined by grey, silvery and in places cloudy passages that make the stone look lively and high-quality. The material is thus considerably more mineral than green marble and less dark and compact than serpentinitic green stones. In kitchen islands, vanity tops, tables or large wall panels in particular, Jadore can strongly define a surface without tipping into the ornamental.
The stone comes from Brazil and is traded as a quartzite. It therefore belongs to a rock class that is valued for high hardness, good scratch resistance and high suitability for kitchens and loaded interior surfaces. Anyone looking for the colour of a green stone but wanting more technical reserve than many marbles offer will find a very interesting alternative here. At the same time the surface remains visually exclusive and clearly positioned in the premium segment.
Reliable individual values are not fully available for this variant. High hardness and good insensitivity to acids are typical of quartzites of this class, which is why they work considerably more comfortably in kitchens and on heavily loaded surfaces than many green marbles. Poliert
Politur ist die klassischste Veredelung für Quarzit — eine glänzende Oberfläche mit höchstmöglicher Farbintensität und ausgeprägter Tiefenwirkung. Je nach mineralischer Zusammensetzung kann die Wirkung stellenweise mattglänzend sein. Als Silikatgestein vollständig säurebeständig und kratzhart — ideal für Küchenarbeitsplatten und Sichtflächen.
Care & fabrication
Jadore Green Quartzite should be carefully sealed on worktops and interior surfaces so that water, oil and coloured liquids adhere less readily. That makes everyday care considerably easier.
For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, clear water and soft cloths are enough. On darker or more strongly textured surfaces, limescale, grease and soap residues should be removed regularly.
Avoid strongly film-forming care products and abrasive pads. Even hard quartzite is easier to clean and care for when the surface is not loaded unnecessarily.
On kitchen and vanity top surfaces, clean and care for the stone regularly, do not leave coloured media standing for long and check the sealer at sensible intervals. That keeps the green colouring clear and clean.
