Granite from Brazil

Kamarica

Kamarica is a Brazilian granite in khaki-green, grey-brown and white-veined tones with a natural movement. ROSSITTIS carries it as a raw slab where a warm greenish granite look is called for in kitchens or wall surfaces.

About Kamarica

Kamarica is a stone for projects that should move between green, grey and brown without sliding into colourful exoticism. The surface works with khaki-green, grey-brown and light areas crossed by whitish veins. This makes the stone appear natural, earthy and somewhat landscape-like. Compared with clearly green marbles, Kamarica is markedly more mineral and more robust; compared with neutral grey stones, more colourful and more distinctive. For kitchens, tables or wall surfaces with an organic material effect in particular, this is very interesting.

The stone comes from Brazil and is listed in the market as granite. What matters for the design is that Kamarica brings more movement and colour change with it than a classic single-colour stone, while remaining in the resilient granite segment. Anyone looking for a green or khaki-coloured natural stone, but wanting to avoid the acid sensitivity of classic marbles or limestones, finds a robust alternative here.

Finishes

Kamarica is available in a range of finishes. The finish affects appearance, feel and the care it needs.

Poliert

Kamarica should be sealed on worktops and interior surfaces, so that water, grease and coloured liquids adhere less readily. This makes everyday use easier, particularly on the areas with movement and on the lighter areas.

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and soft cloths are enough. On kitchen surfaces, oil, coffee and limescale residues should be removed regularly so that the play of colour stays calm.

Avoid aggressive descalers, strongly film-forming care products and abrasive pads. A Brazilian granite is easier to clean and care for when the surface is not treated needlessly harshly.

On textured or matt surfaces, clean and care for them regularly and refresh the sealer according to use. In this way the organic colouring of the material stays clearly legible.

How do I clean Kamarica correctly?

For cleaning and care, pH-neutral natural stone cleaners, water and soft cloths are enough. On worktops, grease, limescale and coloured residues should be removed regularly.

Can Kamarica be used outdoors?

Yes, as a granite Kamarica is fundamentally also suitable for selected external applications. What matters is the choice of finish and a proper build-up.
